Gerrit Piechowski started filming skateboarding at the age of 11 with an old Hi8 camcorder and found his way into the commercial/advertising world in 2015 through founding modest dept.
A swiss-army-knife filmmaker if there ever was one, Gerrit is an experienced director, editor, DOP and even dabbles in animation and music-making on the side. He has an extensive knowledge of filmmaking techniques and a true DIY attitude.
