Julius Krappe

Julius Krappe is Berlin-based director coming from the world of skateboarding. Starting from a young age, he travelled around the world with his camera. He is high energy as his films but has an extraordinary eye for human storytelling.

Through his special knack for connecting with anyone anywhere, he manages to capture extreme environments and situations – life in Rio, Ukrainian rebel youth, and assorted American subcultures – always with an empathetic and curious touch.
